My one major criticism of Men's Rights Advocates is the insistence on framing it in a way that may be principled, but garners no help for the men involved, in spite of having pinpointed the problem decades ago...
take the W for what it is. fact is, nothing gets society motivated to fix a problem like it affecting women.
This being a "win" assumes the people responsible for the fix both identify the problem correctly and come up with a fix that actually benefits men. Just look at this article and its talk of "rigid masculine norms" and "disrupt[ing] the patterns of male behavior that ultimately don’t serve women or men". I think it's safe to say given the current environment that any such "fix" is likely to be completely dysfunctional at best and "the beatings will continue until morale improves" at worst.
