Yesterday I made a mistake when I said:
“LA Fire Department’s head of DEI has a similar or higher salary than LAFD’s second in command.
Jon O’Brien - Chief Deputy
Salary: $283,398 (2022)
Kristine Larson - Equity Bureau Chief
Salary: $399,000 (2023)”
I made a mistake: Jon O’Brien is Deputy Chief Deputy of Emergency Operations for the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD), which is different than LAFD.
I deleted the original post accordingly.
