So last spring there was that thing in the Trump "election interference" case where the DA Fani Willis and prosecutor Nathan Wade were being investigated by the court for possible ethical violations. During the testimony, it became abundantly clear that the two were in a relationship, Fani had hired him and paid him ridiculous rates, and been taken on numerous vacations.
At the time, the judge, McAfee, issued a really wishy-washy ruling that "well yeah, it's pretty bad, but we can't really be too hard on them so only one of them has to leave the case." And Nathan Wade was removed.
It was then sent to appeals, and the Georgia appellate court just booted Fani as well. The case isn't dismissed, but nobody is going to touch it because even corrupt, racist leftists aren't that stupid.
Also, there could still be repercussions if the DOJ under Trump (and hopefully Kash Patel) decide to do some more digging to find out if there was coordination between these "independent" prosecutions and the White House. It may come down to the fact that Nathan Wade is such a stupid, slimy, greedy fuck that he BILLED HIS TIME SPENT AT THE WHITE HOUSE.
But anyway, in case anyone is keeping score, all of the cases are dead. Judge Cannon dismissed hers, Jack Smith dropped his other one, though I'm sure Chutkan would have helped him string it along for as long as he wanted to keep at it, the Georgia case dead, and the New York "hush money/accounting error" case with Juan "My Daughter raises 10s of millions of $ for Democrats" Merchan has delayed sentencing.
He just keeps getting away with it!
What's happening with the New-York state lawsuit demanding Trump pays 500+++ millions in fine for a mutually-agreed loan ( paied back in full plus interests ) from a bank that said they were categorically not defrauded?
The hearings on appeal was a bunch of skeptical judges asking the prosecution's lawyer ''but there was never this kind of lawsuit in a case where both parties were knowledgeable, did their own evaluation and agreed, right?''
And the lawyer kept bringing up examples that were not comparable to what they did to Trump ( and which was never done again to other buisnessmen who take similar loans with banks, backed with property values both agree on and are not at all value listed for property taxes ).
Good question -- I haven't heard any news on that one in a while.
That and the E. Jean Carroll "he raped me in this outfit that didn't exist at the time and it was sexy" appeal has also been quiet.
Also the Rudy Giuliani case where those two fat DEI election-stealing cunts are basically being given everything he owns faster than he can appeal it.
