I found a thread on 4chan dealing with the matter of Nintendo and their "new guidelines" censorship which caused the banning of games such as Neptunia from being released in the West.

Digging out 4chan anons found that multiple games were already being banned by this but that the culprits seem to be Nintendo of America (NoA) and Nintendo of Europe (NoE) possibly doing the fuck whatever they want without Nintendo HQ actually escalating on this censorship.

the thread is quite long but the discussion inevitably merges with payment processor censorship in Japan and the escalation which is not being talked yet about the houses of lawmakers against granting vote rights to foreigners being set on fire.
