Why do this whole thing feels like it was conveniently planned?
Because it's happening too fast. Everything was found on him when he was "caught". 'Too much, too soon' in a similar vein to why so many balked at how quickly, and intensely, the various covid vaccines were being pushed despite how little time has passed. Maybe that's related here and a similar feeling really is tugging at the backs of some peoples minds just because of the timescales involved again.
the 3d printed gun.
he took a bus was there any reason to use one instead of a real gun? he brought bullets anyways.
why not use a real and reliable piece of hardware? fuck nfa he could afford to pay to have anything he wanted stolen or straw purchased.
now the state can make a real "fake" id, and they can print a new gun, whip up a manifesto and you're done. or they knew he had this stuff, possibly being the source of it in the first place, and gave the actual assassin the copies.
labs are notoriously shady so even the dna results might be pretty suspect here too. or if they're doing this in reverse they had a cup and wrapper he threw away at a starbucks in baltimore/pittsburgh and gave it to the real assassin to drop in new york.
they found tons of video of him moving around new york, will we get lots of video of him moving around pittsburgh in the days and weeks before the assassination? him getting on the bus?
waiting to see what grounds they use in their extradition warrant. that should be where the next tip comes from.
oh yea.. and for a guy with a fucked up lower back.. he sure rode that street bike pretty good in the getaway, eh?
