So I'm in the bathroom bored, doing business, and type into Google, "I'm pooping amuse me." I get back a bunch of Webmd type pages about pooping. About the fourth item down is diarrhea in women and almost every recommended page following is about women's health. I search, "Amuse Me," and get some hits for a ride and then a bunch of hits about tv shows with women as the main cast.
I type in, "I'm a man," and get a bunch of Spencer Davis group returns, fair enough. But I also got a hit on a Michelle Branch activist song, about the plight of women.
When did search engines become all about chick stuff?
Sorry for being an asshole. Now I'm going to offer a loving suggestion. It may be something you already do; if so, forgive me and know I just want people to think for themselves rather than abdicating their thought processes to AI.
I've noticed that many people wonder about a lot of things but never actually go searching for any answers. Was standing around a bonfire the other day with a group of folks who were all speculating about how hot the cinders were and wishing they knew but not one of those fuckers thought to actually find an answer. When I looked it up they acted like I was a genius for being able to find information.
I grew up in the 70s waiting weeks for the opportunity to go to the library and use the encyclopedias or possibly being able to find a book or use a microfiche machine to read old articles about a subject I was interested in. Knowing Things took real fucking effort and a fuckton of patience. Now we live in the Age of Information with so much at our fingertips and nobody knows how to fucking investigate anything. Swear to fuck it drives me insane.
Follow your natural curiosity and interests and actively pursue knowledge you are interested in. Formulate some questions about the world you live in that truly get you to perk up with curiosity and become a willing and eager student of something, anything, which fires you up.
Use this opportunity to gather knowledge on the internet rather than just mindlessly entertaining yourself. We didn't have this opportunity to learn about ANYTHING WE WANT just a few decades ago and it honestly might be a temporary luxury. TPTB want the internet stripped and sanitized and used for indoctrination only, and if that happens future generations will have no fucking clue the treasure trove that was lost.
