I'm a little out of the loop on UK politics, but isn't Starmer the guy who's been openly pro-immigration up until now? And now he's blaming it on Brexit and the conservative party?

Starmer was recently arresting people criticizing his mass migration policies. (including pre trial detention to force them to plead guilty)
