I'll be visiting some national parks with my SO in California, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming for a couple weeks. We're flying into LAX from Canada. It's crossed my mind there may be leftist unrest in the wake of the election results, although I generally think they're more embarrassed and confused than anything right now. Anything I should be careful about?

He's from Canada. I don't know if he's ever been to the Canadian North, but if so he's going to laugh at most of those concerns. Americans really don't understand how deserted the part of Canada that is more than 100 km from the American border is.
Also Gas occasionally hits 8$ a gallon here.
I understand how deserted it is, I just didn't realize he was from Canada.
That gas price though.
Yup. It's $1.45/L near me or about $5.50/Gallon. Sad thing is that that's not such a bad price these days.
He'll feel at home in California.
