I think he gave enough clues that you could ultimately piece it together from multiple comments. Without access to his comment history it's a bit tough to remember accurately, especially given how often he'd post shower thoughts about a wide range of different kinds of games.

Although I do distinctly remember him posting multiple threads, talking about inventory UI and itemization stuff, so probably an RPG of some sort.
