Honestly, Israel knocking out Iran's nuclear capacity really isn't a lose for any of us beyond the regionalization of the war (which seems to already have happened). If they managed to succeed (which is still a serious "if"), it would keep Iran from using tactical nukes any time soon, or developing their enrichment procedures.
You're gonna have to undo the damage done by Biden, and this would be the fastest way. Since it's not the US striking the Iranians, it isn't officially an action on our front, and can't be used to justify bringing the Americans into the war. In fact, there'd be a large argument of "Israel doesn't need our help, they're just going to keep defeating Arab/Persian armies like normal."
This would certainly be a more difficult attack than what they did on Iraq's Osirak reactor. (Interesting note: that's actually what the latest Top Gun movie was based on).
Iran gets its carriers and fissile material from Russia, at least in part. If Isnotreal, which is the US, which is NATO, which is the EU, which is the entire western hegemonial hemisphere strikes certain Iranian installations and targets, it will cause WW3. Russia correctly surmised that to checkmate, or force WW3, they would need to strengthen ties with the Middle-East. The US has done the Orient in at least thrice that we know, it stands to reason it would happen again.
Whether you are a believer or not (i am, doxa tou theou! ameen ☦), whether this is biblical or not, it definitely is terrible, scary and has implications for the wider world beyond just a dust bowl and a corrupt Eastern European wheat plantation.
How so. The Ukro conflict and the Mid-East conflict are beginning to meld together. The Ukraine is pretty much in my front yard and we are supporting and supplying it, AND we have US forces on our soil, still occupying our nation (unlike the Soviets who actually left), and i don't have to tell you in what capacity the US is supporting and supplying the Ukraine. Russia has more than enough justification to strike our territory, nevermind US territory.

I think the risks of WW3 are actually wildly overblown.
