I was enthralled with it the first time playing through, and then the ending happened and it all fell apart. Not only fell apart, but the lack of satisfying conclusion made all the terrible characters and beats leading up to it stick out so much more.

Even more so because they deliberately designed the game to force Anders, the worst character in every possible way, a near mandatory party member by making him the only healer.
