This whole situation displays way more poetic justice than I expected.
Just posting in case i'm not the only one who missed this.
Assassin's Creed is one of the first games I remember that put that virtue signaling "made by people of different faiths, creeds, ethnicities" etc. nonsense, so this is unsurprising.
At the time it seemed logical for the first Assassin’s Creed. The game was set in the holy land, centred around Muslims, Jews and early Christians, and it was around the time that Kingdom of Heaven film came out. I think at that time the disclaimer only mentioned different faiths.
Then fast forward a few years and they started adding all the other various perversions and mental illnesses.
Now I can’t even stomach their game trailers.
