It reminds me the parents of that german teen, raped and killed by a migrant, who were more worried about "not looking racist" than the rape and murder of their own children.

It's cult like behavior, caring more about ideology than family. The cult is more important that the well being of their own kids.

By the way, it also explains why parents go along with their kids getting castrated. Because they are more afraid of "transphobia" accusation rather than the well being of their own children.
