It gets worse the more you dig into it and I suspect the people who are getting uppity and trying to defend them are doing a knee-jerk reaction because muh independent opposition but they don't realise how deep this rabbit hole goes. Regardless of how you feel about the DOJ, this is not a good look for them at all, I'm perfectly fine condemning them as unwitting glowie assets at best.
I mean there's a lot there, the kiwifarms thread did a good job breaking some of the main points down in their usual fashion. Funny how in the right wing circles it's all causing a lot of friction, I just hate glowie ops no matter what because of how deceptive it all is.
I think a lot of people don't want to do the work of reading the source material and prefer to fall within their dismissive preconceived heuristics ("DOJ bad", "Da Joos", etc)

I'm guilty about opining and following the story so much over the last couple of days without having read the entire source material.
After having reviewed the indictment in its entirety, it creates a damning and different picture if the allegations as claimed are true.
