I feel the powers that be will ignore this. Also so many young people have been brainwashed to be terrified of climate change.

I have found a fair amount of luck comparing them to the crazy fire and brimstone preachers on the street claiming the end of the world. It seems to strike a chord as it's also something they've been taught to hate.
