Their every "solution" against climate change involves some new & exotic form of consumerism. Whether it be electric cars, or govt contracts to build charging stations, or 15 minute cities, or carbon credit exchanges, every single "solution" involves already super rich people becoming even more rich somehow. Funny, they forgot to tell people to stop buying a new iphone every six months.
That's not even to mention them using climate change as yet another reason why we Westerners should feel a deep-seated moral obligation to accept "refugees" from africa and the middle east.
I'm a huge fan of trying to protect the earth and finding good ways to clean the ocean and use more renewable energy.
Nothing wrong with any of that, it's useful and we only have one planet, keep it clean.
