Trudeau has only ever given Canadians what Canadians wanted and Canadians hate him for it. Even now after Canadians decided they were bearish on immigrants, he has decided to lower temporary foreign workers. He's still giving Canadians what they're asking for and they still hate him. It's like Canadians have forgotten that even as short as 3 years ago, if you said you hated immigration you were branded a racist, banned off all platforms and told by fellow Canadians that you lacked empathy and needed to embrace love. Many Canadians still do that but less than before. Trudeau has only ever given Canadians exactly what Canadians wanted, whether that was to reduce industry to lower carbon emissions, promote feminism, promote immigration, etc... Everything Trudeau has done has been right out of the book for what Canadians have always wanted. I know this because I've been fighting Canadians for the last two decades and only in the last little while has anything shifted in Canada. I can finally talk about immigration among average liberals without immediately being attacked. This is brand new for Canadian politics. Canadians are just experiencing the effects of the very values and beliefs most of upheld and cherished for decades and they blame Trudeau for it when Trudeau was just doing everything Canadians wanted him to.
That's why I feel bad for the guy. If I was in his position I'd hate Canadians too.
Trudeau still sucks, but you do bring up an interesting question.
In a representative democracy, does the ideal representative do what's right for the people or what the people want them to? On paper, someone elected by a bunch of retards in San Francisco is doing their job perfectly if they push for the policies those retards want. BUT, the policies they request and the outcomes that they actually want are usually in complete opposition. "REEEEE, want open borders but also please do something about crime! No police though, police bad." At what point does ignoring your constituents to save them from themselves become the job? And how is that not a double-sided argument when some RINO cucks to leftist policies against the will of their constituents?
Edit: The obvious answer is describing why you're voting on legislation the way you are, but 3 people are going to read your press releases. Anyone else is getting it repackaged by the MSM.
