Maybe cowardly is the wrong word. I think my problem mainly has to do with what we see in this video, where there are ample opportunities for the drone to meet its target, but instead it waffled around as if some sadistic operator was toying with his target. I don't like that, and I don't like when people do that with guns either.
Maybe I just find it frightening. Picturing myself in that soldier's situation against explosive attack drones feels hopeless, and this kind of thing will just become more ubiquitous.
