They treat everything like it's political, everything like it's a culture war. And when questioned why they would sneak something like that in, you get that their existence isn't political. Except everything is political with them, they've said that for at least a decade now.
I don't want any real life politics in my video games. Allegories and in game politics is fine. But when you do put actual political stuff in games, I have to resist and remove, because if I don't, you're emboldened to do more because you treat it like a victory in a fucking war campaign and have the nerve to say "why do you have trans people in your head 24/7". I'm not picking apart that argument again, so here's an analogy.
I'm gonna shit on a plate and expect you to eat it. You're going to enjoy it, or I hate you forever and you're a horrible fascist. You'd also be expected to absolutely love and tolerate at least a little piece of it, so I have an inroad to shit on your living room couch next time, then all over your house, and then your life. And you have to like every piece of it or else. That's you. That's how you sound with your absolute bullshit.
I don't want any real life politics in my video games.
People need to stop saying that. The problem isn't real life politics in video games, it's shitty people putting their shitty real life politics in video games.
