I enjoy hearing stories of hunters and farmers becoming war heroes, like the Red Baron or the White Death. Hell, Imperial Germany wanted to make shotguns a war crime given how fucking good American soldiers were with them in WW1, with apocryphal accounts of US troops skeet-shooting grenades out of the air.
