I'm not going to post the leaks in the main post mainly because it is leaks and not the full pages yet, but I didn't think I could dislike how Horikoshi took the latter portions of the manga more than I do until now. There's certain things I've seen as a part of the ending that I genuinely can't believe, but I see Horikoshi do certain things and it is what it is at this point. He's the author of this manga and all I can do is read it, but like Toriyama with Dragon Ball, a lot of his decisions with his series are flawed.

Nevermind leaks, the whole final chapter is already scanlated.
I get the impression that the publisher, Shueisha, really wanted the series to be over already. Capeshit never really resonated with Japan, and it's reflected in My Hero Academia's readership and sales. Demon Slayer had a shorter run and it already eclipses MHA.
So yeah, Horikoshi likely rushed to end it somewhat gracefully before his publisher get too impatient and axe it unceremoniously. The story could've benefitted from a time skip to the students being third-years with more experience under their belts, but what's done is done.
At least Hori didn't leave children around for a sequel hook like Boruto.
I think there are tons of sequel hooks, like the tools shown at the end and several of the final scenes. I am hopeful there will not be some sort of "Our hero academia" next but I just won't pick it up like I didn't pick up Boruto.
