The woke are obsessed with Yasuke and feel like he needs to be represented in a Japanese setting.
But why?
By literally every account , Japanese people are more minorities than Black people are . And Japanese people are less represented in Western media than Black people are.
The only way it makes sense is if "minority" ACTUALLY means "people that are bad at building civilizations". This applies to every minority that the left is obsessed over like LGBT as well for example.
The left are anti civilization
It hasn't been about being a minority in a long time. Keep in mind that white people are very fast turning in to minorities inside European countries.
From a leftist pov everyone is exactly the same. If you make something good is because of an unbalance that is fundamentally unfair. By extension if you have any success then it means that you are evil.
Japan built itself up after ww2, they have a culture that is being admired and cherished globally, have a rich history and are developed. Africans are still underdeveloped and their culture is either lost or not seen as great, especially by leftists. In a twisted way Japan is evil towards blacks.
Things that we would admire less then 10 years ago, hard work and beating the odds are now seen as evil by the left.
