The last time I went to PAX (~10 years ago) there were tons of panels on woke shit and every one of them had 99% empty theaters. I'm talking 5 people in a theater that holds 1000.
This was the same event where I submitted a panel where I and some other devs that I knew would talk about a game development. It was rejected because it would be a "promotional panel" since we would be talking about products we had worked on. So I would have to pay $4000 to do the panel. I declined and just never went to pax again.
But all the wokies stayed. They've dedicated their lives to ruining shit and my passing interest just can't compete. I'm not going to spend a year infiltrating the review boards and making alliances and blackmailing people to gain influence - but they will.
