I like asking this every couple of months. I’m currently reading the first book of the Three Body Problem and the book I finished before it was a book about Angels by Billy Graham that my mother gave me when I was in middle school but finally read recently. Better late than never

Gai-Jin by James Clavell: part of the Asian Saga and can be considered a "sequel" to Shogun since its set on Japan and naturally refers to the events of Shogun given that its a fictional retelling of Tokugawa and the Great Unification. This one refers to a small war England had with Japan due to English merchants being struck down by ronin and the incongruent ways that incidents of the sort get resolved between the East and the West.
TCP/IP Illustrated, Vol. 1 by W. Richard Stevens: its pretty comprehensive but I've never delved into what makes the Internet truly work despite being a software engineer.
From Here to Economy by Todd Buchholz: I pulled this from a free library kiosk as something to read quickly. Think of it like Economics for Dummies, I guess.
