If you're reaching for the pause button instead of already having dropped the controller and started moving towards them, you're a failure as a parent. It's a game. Take care of the priority, lose the fight or whatever, try again later. You signed up for those responsibilities when you had kids. If that sounds too cumbersome, don't have children.
Go play other shit for a couple of months. Elden Ring will still be there when your wrist is healed. Or use one of the split controller solutions and you can even play with both your arms in slings.
This is the only thing mentioned so far that is an actual disability. There are some reasonable accommodations that can be made, but it's at the dev's discretion and if they think the product would suffer, they have no obligation to cater to you personally. Lest we get rid of video games altogether because "muh blind people can't play them."
