One of the few times Reddit was "based" was when the entire r/animemes (I think) sub led a massive protest against their mods banning the word "trap", so they just spammed Yugioh jokes and mocked them for days while the sub was literally unusable.

Also the entire reason "trap" is even in the lexicon is because the Original Line Trap, and he has afaik always considered himself a dude and called his fans homos.
