It sounded like one of the many joyless feminist shrews on Reddit in the beginning paragraph but it turned into the diametrically opposite. haha
The seed may have been planted though. Some time, maybe years from now, he'll mildly inconvenience her on a bad day again and she'll think back that maybe those redditors were right that she is being oppressed, and should rightfully take everything from him for doing that.
The greed and selfishness that feminists cheer for is a slow and insidious rot.
According to her post, they’ve already been together 11 years, and in this case she’s very clearly taken his side against outside pressure. Not even a halfhearted “come on, you’re overreacting,” but a wholehearted “wow, you people are insane and I love my husband” response.
Obviously, we’ll never know for sure, but I choose to believe you are being needlessly pessimistic.
Eh, I've seen perfectly reasonable women hit midlife discontent in their 40s and suddenly fall for the venom telling them it's all men's fault and reverse course completely.
