Let's suppose for a second that this guy hated black people so much that he couldn't stomach the idea of one of them shaking his daughter's hand.
Does that sound like the kind of guy who would rush the stage and say nothing race-related while doing it? That he's willing to disrupt the ceremony and push the guy, but he's just too darn polite to vocalize his dislike of black people?
Nothing about this passes the smell test. That the media is trotting out a 6 year old photo of students that have nothing to do with this story is a transparently desperate attempt to make this something it obviously isn't.
I'm no lawyer but I think the media more implied racism more than accussing it directly. Even in this report they don't say it's racism they tell you the race of parties involved, bring on an expert that says it looks like racism, and then says social media is arguing about and gives a n example of a single post arguing it's racism. So they don't technically call it racism.
