Latest bankruptcy filing in Alex Jones' bankruptcy case proves the defamation suit was all about silencing him (archive.is)

Has there been no appeal of that ruling? I can’t speak to the merits of the law suit itself, but a 1.5 billion dollar judgment? In no universe is that a just judgement for a defimation case, any defimation case. I get that the goal is to silence him, but holy cow.

The process of appealing it is ongoing, but remember that the feds can manipulate his company to deny him funds to his own attorneys.

He had to fight them during one meeting because they wanted to confiscate his cat and sell it to pay the defamation.

It was one of those very nice $12,000 cats, but you still shouldn't sell someone's cat.

See, this is one of the reasons I think the families are evil and probably doing someone's bidding. Their behavior has done more to convince me that Alex was right than Alex has.

When Alex gets things wrong, it's because he runs with bad information. Remember how he got told that the FAA was going to re-impose mask or vax mandates for October of 2023? He's reported on HARP weather control programs, but most of that is just regular SigInt, that the media is repeating crap about. Hell, even the Sandy Hook Hoax thing was speculation from an outside source.

He has a lot of crap that comes in, and sometimes he's either too paranoid to see the real pattern, or he recognizes the con only too late (like he did with QAnon).

He, himself, has stated that sometimes he's totally overwhelmed by information that he's getting, and he doesn't really know how to handle all of it and get it put together.

Frankly, if I had to bet money on it, it's partly because there are information operations being directed against him to spread disinformation, while he's also getting real information that most sources know that he is the only person that would take their claim seriously. Censorship doesn't actually work as well as just flooding the target with too much, which is partly what drives him crazy, and what gets him caught up in bullshit... which is on purpose.

No question about it. I believe he even said the guy who told him about Sandy Hook was a former CIA guy he had used for other stories but stopped listening to after that.

And really, that’s true for all of us. I would NOT envy his position because you are already essentially fighting for your life as is

Tbh I'm still not convinced Sandy Hook happened. I think they're going after him this hard precisely because they want skepticism of alleged mass shootings to be downright unthinkable for most people, and something you won't touch with a ten foot pole if you're a pundit with more than a thousand followers.
