Nazis and commies fought eachother, but leftist variants being in conflict is nothing new. Leftists want control, and thus any two leftist groups will inevitably be in conflict as only one can have control. Fundamentally, they're leftist authoritarian ideologies, which pretend to be different but operate in nearly the same ways and result in the same thing - one or a few sociopaths rising to the top of their religion-like power structure, and then millions of corpses.
