They're probably hoping to game the top seller trending lists among other things so that a normie goes "Oh wow that's selling for a lot so it must be good" and that's how they hook people into buying it. Since that kind of market manipulation is peanuts for them it's entirely plausible, holy shit, I do wonder if certain people are going to put two and two together and we'll see some lawsuits over this and potential government action.
