MetroUK have deleted their twitter account after the Doctor Who Backlash

Metro put out an article with the racist headline "Sorry straight white men, Doctor Who was never made for you". Shockingly, this didn't go over well with the fans, and the backlash was so severe it appears Metro has ended up deleting their entire Twitter/X account in response. https://twitter.com/MetroUK

And the writer of that article protected her account.

I loved how the BBC for decades thought another show would beat it. Then they tried to force it to have their politics and it failed. This was the 80's...
