You lack understanding of history, logic and effective politics. The goal is not to convince the dogmatic goon you're arguing with, but to convince the audience. Destroying their argument discredits it and helps to remove its power from society, and awaken the audience to how bullshit it is.

Are you a doomer or do you just not want to actually achieve anything? Many things called racist can be backed by logic. Actually just retreating into "well I guess I'm racist" instead of understanding the functional and logical reasons is losing, and will always lose because it's dimwit behavior. You claim I want to conserve "the last ten years" while you don't understand history beyond ten years of time. I think the US federal government has been unsalvageable for a century.
