(((Polling))) shows Americans overwhelmingly support Israel over Hamas.
Sorry, I had to.
Don't most Americans also support a ceasefire? I've been told that's supporting Hamas. So I could say most Americans support Hamas.
As always, there are lies, damn lies, and statistics.
How about we just actually put it to a vote?! Not that I support other people being allowed to steal my money or decide what news I can consume, but at least that would actually be more representational and democratic than listening to some retard read me what the "polling" says I support.
I hate to sound all Reddit, but it's a false dichotomy to try and corral you into the Good Boy pen. Considering how quickly antisemitism, and pro-racism in general are taking off, the media's been trying to convince people to hide their true viewpoints.
Can you elaborate? Sorry, it's probably a me issue, but I don't quite understand what you mean. What's the false dichotomy? And in what ways do you mean the media is trying to convince people to hide? Cheers.
A false dichotomy is when you reduce a situation to two possiblities--the thing you want, and the "opposite" of that thing, usually something socially unacceptable.
The "hiding" I'm referring to means people keep socially unacceptable viewpoints to themselves because the media has convinced them very few people agree with them, and everyone else will be against them for having these viewpoints. It's like how we were assured everyone wanted more COVID lockdowns, but everything was jam packed with people when it got too painful--even people insisting lock downs were correct would do this while trying to convince everyone they agreed with them, like the media insisted was true.
