I wouldnt need an excuse to shoot a mugger, but I would need a guarantee I wasnt going to prison for it.

I doubt Chicago is based enough to just let you shoot thieves.

They let gangs shoot at each other under the premise of "mutual combat" but those rules don't apply to white people or people trying to intervene in a crime.
