One of the greatest memes of all time is a picture of a white dude tending a campfire with the accompanying text of “at every beach party, there’s always some white dude obsessively keeping the fire going”.

The comments under the meme always say the same thing: it’s a metaphor for western civilization.

If everyone voted on a race/gender demographic to disappear forever starting tomorrow, “white men” would win in a landslide. Coincidentally, this would also be by far the most destructive choice possible for our civilization. How do you describe such a society? Sick? Suicidal? Subverted?
