I don't think they'll even need to. They can skip half these steps

We've been sending them hair and spit samples for dna sequencing and genetic history stuff for ages now, and they can turn adult cells back into stem cells. Nobel prize for it like 20 years back.

I think its worse than you fear, they're past needing half of this.
