This is just a really volatile topic... I agree with the bare content of the post. As you go back far enough in cinema history, you'll see women getting slapped, by men, Sean Connery or otherwise, and a lot of the time they deserve it. However, the notion that it's OK to hit a woman sometimes is incredibly easy to misinterpret and misapply. Most domestic violence is unrestrained frustration and anger, so it's safer just to make up your mind to never hit a woman and leave it at that.

I mean it doesnt even need to be hit by a man. Women hit each other fairly often. Slaps count
