The basics of the game are good if you stand it alone from the story and other shitty choices. The movement is great and the combat looks like it was meant for melee as the big attacks look flashy and meatyt. Remove 90% of the UI, 70% of the gunplay and a good indie studio (without connections to the woke investors) can make something great in this skeleton.
I would if I could. I don’t have enough cash to get the contract for their assets and license of their back ends. Plus, I don’t want to work for them unless they have a very one sided contract (and a anti-DEI escape out of it.)

At that point, it seems easier just to make a new game?
The engine works well enough and reusing the skeleton movements, enemy AI, and building assets would save a crazy amount of time.
