They don't want it to die. It is a useful tool in many ways for the globalists - even in the outside chance it gains any real traction, it's still a leftist ideology that emphasizes strong central government.

The globalists do not actually have values outside of the pursuit of power. They will gladly preach any dogma they can use to gain control of any system. This is why they claim nazism is right wing- both to obscure the fact that leftist ideology always leads to death and destruction, and to use to slide right wing people towards leftist ideology by claiming alliance.
