Years ago, I got an Xbox Series S because 1) I had never owned an Xbox-brand console before, and 2) it would've been the Series X due to how much of a proponent I am of physical media, but the global parts shortage at the time meant I had no clue when they'd be more available again, and the X was around $800 at this point.
I got the Series S knowing it was a calculated risk.
Not only am I not buying a digital-only console again, I am not buying an Xbox again.
