I say deny in the way the left try to manipulate the Japanese like they did with Germany. They can't get guilt tripped the sane way as they always have the counterpoint "you dropped the sun on us...twice!"

So far this seems to be why even though they have the foot on the kneck of the legislature, the population is still heavily against it all, from gay marriage to mass immigration. Which means we just need to pull the plug on the finances of those applying the pressure than do a culture change like in Europe and largely blue areas of America.
