I note that she "uglified" herself for the before photo there (she really wasn't that ugly, at 14!!), and that she was already a "Youtuber/content creator" at that point, so no wonder she ended up with fucking body dysmorphia...
Sad. Just sad. Even has the self-awareness to admit to it, but still can't stop, or admit that she was wrong. Eugh...
I know sometimes you can fail the genetics lottery but a lot of people with confidence issues don't seem to realise a big part of it is down to their diet and taking care of their skin etc. and even with blatant photo manipulation you can tell. The before/after photographs of people who figure this out and get themselves at least looking pretty good are amazing. I'm also convinced after doing even a little bit of digging that a lot of women don't realise the skin care products are ironically damaging their skin so they gaslight themselves into thinking they're ugly without it, they simply don't seem to realise.
