The change in the wording of the mission statement was prompted by a requirement to “assess ourselves regularly.”

Ah, okay, this actually makes perfect sense. Leadership looked around and assessed if they worked for duty, for honor, or for country anymore, realized they didn't, and struck the words.

I applaud their transparency and accountability. Stunning and brave.
