When did "International Women's Day" become like a Christmas-level holiday??

I can't escape this "holiday" today, it's being mentioned everywhere and by everyone like it's fucking Christmas, I know it wasn't like this 10 or even 5 years ago...

Our traditional holidays are slowly being replaced with this identitarian trash...

For better or worse, it was mostly drowned out by Akira Toriyama's death this year.

The death of a legend is tragic, but a feed full of heartfelt tributes is far more palatable than artificial, meaningless, corporate garbage about girl power.
