I'd need to know more details, like if he knew her age. Scummy? Probably. Degenerate, absolutely. But I wouldn't go much beyond that unless he specifically knew her age. Also, calling it "coercion," sounds untrue, and paints the wrong picture. It sounds like he just offered to pay her. Doesn't sound like there was force or threat of force applied. "Child pornography," may be technically accurate, but again paints a much viler picture than the event, and it does matter if it was intentional or not. Again, distasteful, yes, absolutely. Potentially vile, yes.

But the way they're reporting makes him sound like a pedophile rapist, which is in no way the case, at least with the information we currently have. He offered to pay someone on the internet for nudes, who turned out to be fifteen. If he knew, ick. If he didn't, still ick, but less so.

This could range anywhere from pretty disturbing and skeevy to "#MeToo: Nippon Edition," i.e. bullshit.
