I'm not sure if it will be what finally breaks the left (it could be though ), but it's definitely the first real crack in the wall.
A few years back, I thought the gay-islam stuff was going to cause cognitive dissonance in the left, but it has been waved off with a bit of mental gymnastics.
But the Palestine-Israel stuff has definitely created a division in their ranks. So called "anti semitism" is now acceptable, even fashionable amongst mainstream lefties.
It's actually really fun, I've been able to crack a few jew jokes and talk openly about jews with normies. A normie lefty coworker even brought up the tunnels in conversation back when it happened.
