Allegedly there's another Finale episode on the way, I hope they don't stop the series. There's a surprising amount of depth to the show they could expand on thanks to the characters. Given how many new schools they're introducing they've probably got plans.
Love me some Fern but I'm only 11 episodes in. I used to be turned off by girls with such an impenetrable wall of keigo but she makes it work somehow.
Slow burn romance can be perfectly fine so long as there is actual gradual progress and no setbacks that are dumb enough to make my eyes roll back into my head.
For me it doesn't matter what personality type there is, if there's zero progression for the sake of tedious comedy tropes I'm out. Usually that saves even characters I'm not that interested in just because it's extremely refreshing when the Japanese writers show some sense not to shamelessly introduce that crap every couple of episodes.
This is why I liked Isekai Nonbiri so much I also liked Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi for having the most sensible and intelligent MC ever who actually bolted from the country that summoned him and didn't get themselves mired in their politics like a moron lol.
I remember watching a video compilation of communist military parades and it had a techno version of hell march from C&C. I think it got delisted some time ago though, and I haven't been able to find it since.
I suddenly have an urge to watch Girls und panzer again....
I genuinely enjoyed Girls und Panzer. Seeing it used in this was great.
