How come there is so few reporting on Disney and losing a lot of their characters?

I only hear about it in passing in replies, is this news actually true? Are they trying to hide this fact from others?

I want to write this out because I think there's actually a huge gaming opportunity here.

The creators of both "Bendy & The Ink Machine" and "Cuphead" should be the people to exploit this the most.
