I don't think that's the case here. This isn't narcissism or degeneracy.
This is someone who is very mentally broken. If you think for even one second this person wasn't abused in some other way by that father, you're out of your mind.
"He apparently raped my sister, but was otherwise a perfect father" is never anything that has ever happened. This kid probably was sexually abused, or may have been physically, emotionally, or psychologically abused and doesn't recognize the abuse from his broken perspective.
Hell if someone says, "Dad sexually abused us", you can bet money that Mom knew about it and enabled it at the very least. The rape of children isn't "this one quirky thing" that one person does alone. It's an extension of a completely destroyed and abusive family unit, that's spiraled wildly out of control.
